Meet the Team

Joseph D. Rizzi, Founder, Chairman

The founder of Jupiter Research Foundation, Joe has been active in all Jupiter projects. He was chairman and co-founder of Liquid Robotics Inc., and previously a general partner at Matrix Partners LLP, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm. .

Bruce Kamolnick, Director, Secretary & CFO

Bruce is a co-founder of Jupiter, and handles finance, accounting, and administrative matters for the Foundation.

Beth Goodwin, VP Hawai'i Operations

Beth has run the Hawaii operations and marine mammal programs, and is Captain of our research vessel, the May Maru. She was a co-founder of Liquid Robotics Inc., and ran their Hawaii facility. She has spent decades studying whales and dolphins and served as a NOAA marine mammal observer. She is also a research SCUBA diver, and owned and ran a whale watch and eco-tour company in Hawaii. She has an M.A. in Physiology & Behavioral Biology and a B.A. in Marine Biology.
